The pause had Scanty look away out of sheer guilt, but she quickly pushed the feeling away. While some of the tension in the air was able to pass, she allowed silence to linger for a few moments before one of her hands shyly lifted to trace around her jaw and lightly run over her lips before speaking a single sentence.

“I would be unsure of how to get this burning excitement back into me later.”

That, for one, was true. Kneesocks had her pinned right now, something which sparked a lot in her. Of course, when the emotion was all wound up it would be even more effective then, but it was still something to think about.
